Texto e Imagem, a company founded in 1982, is dedicated to the creation of scripts and documentaries, the creation and direction of television projects and editorials, and the conception and curatorship of exhibitions and museum spaces.

Born in Pernambuco and graduated in Social Sciences at the University of São Paulo, Isa Grinspum Ferraz is a screenwriter, documentary filmmaker and curator of exhibitions and multimedia museums.
In the area of museography, Isa coordinated the creation of contents and scripts of the Museu da Língua Portuguesa, in São Paulo, and recently the curatorial project of renovation of the Museu da Língua Portuguesa - Fundação Roberto Marinho. She was also curator of the renovation project and integration of the museums of the Instituto Butantan in São Paulo and the Museu de Saúde Pública Emílio Ribas, also in São Paulo, as well as acting in the creation of content and museum design. She was the curator of the Cais do Sertão, in Recife, Estação Natureza, in USP, the exhibitions As utopias de Darcy Ribeiro, in Brasilia, and Marighella, in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, among others. Isa is currently directing the creation of the Museu das Missões and the Museu do Pampa in Rio Grande do Sul.
In the audiovisual area, she directed the award-winning series O Povo Brasileiro, shown at GNT and TV Cultura, and the series Intérpretes do Brasil and O valor do amanhã, the latter for Rede Globo’s show Fantástico. She also directed the documentary series A Cidade no Brasil for Sesctv, besides the documentary series, Galáxias – pensar o Brasil hoje, for IEB and Sesctv. Isa has written dozens of screenplays, including the award-winning Religiões africanas no Brasil with Pierre Verger. She also coordinated the Special Projects department of Nova TVE, at the Roquette Pinto Foundation. Among others, she made the feature films O milagre do pão, A Cidade não Para, Lina Bo Bardi and Darcy Ribeiro: um vulcão de ideias, featured on TV Cultura. In 2011, she made the award-winning feature film Marighella.
In the area of multimedia educational projects, she coordinated and directed the creation of Gênesis, with Sebastião Salgado, for Unesco, of the project Missão Ambiente – Responsabilidade Socioambiental dos Brasileiros, for the Brazilian Army Cultural Foundation, and the Professor da Pré-Escola project , of the Roberto Marinho Foundation. With Darcy Ribeiro, Isa developed the project of the Escola Normal Superior de Educação a Distância, for the Brazilian Ministry of Education, among others.
In the editorial area, she edited texts and images of Pietro Bardi's História do Masp, and Lina Bo Bardi and Aldo Van Eyck's Museu de Arte de São Paulo. Isa also did the selection and editing of texts from the award-winning book Lina Bo Bardi. She is the author of Darcy Ribeiro: Utopia Brasil, by Editora Hedra.
For three years, Isa worked as a collaborator of Lina Bo Bardi and, for over 10 years, of Darcy Ribeiro. She was cultural director for 7 years at the Fundação Darcy Ribeiro, where she works as a counselor.
